Morning all!
Am waking up early to get errands done today and head to uni and the city with the Duchess...
So right now I'm just enjoying the early morning sunshine and checking the news online over yummy toast and a cup of hot Milo...ah...convenience...
It says in the news that detainees in Guantanamo Bay may kill themselves because of the depression caused by the isolation. Three guys have already killed themselves and the Australian guy, David Hicks, his lawyer's worried for him, thinks he may off himself because of the isolation too.
Well, the three guys who killed themselves were all Middle Easterns so you never know...they may have hopped the twig because they were Middle Easterns stuck in a camp run by piss-mad, hell-abusive, baton-twirling Americans who might fancy themselves the next Abu Ghraib.
On the other hand, it's true that isolation is really a tough thing and triggers depression really well.
But then, better the isolation or the daily contact of a bunch of roughhouse prisoners who are looking forward to raping your ass and calling you Shirley as they push your face into the mud?
