It's been freezing this week. Yesterday it was pouring and pouring, effectively stranding myself, Ricardo and the Gutter Philosopher at the Gutter Philosopher's house. We spent most of the day wrapped up on the sofa watching Ricardo play God of War, as we had been doing for the past two or three days. It was very exciting - like watching an animated action movie only we shout a lot more than when we actually watch a movie.
We also saw V for Vendetta last night! It was all right... and I saw Tokyo Drift with Sheryl over the weekend...okay, that's enough groans from you all right now. *grins*
It was a weekend of cooking... P and F left to Sweden this Sunday so we farewelled them with brownies *ahem* on Friday night while GP had a barbeque on his brand new black bbq grill that he's so proud of on Saturday. It was all very yummy and spacey :)
And the Duchess has left to KL after a final night of us (the Duchess, me and the Lost Smoker) playing pranks on Mystery Wolf and Pill that involved yellow rope, Vaseline and locked doors. Lol.
Speaking of which, all kinds of exciting things have been happening to the Lost Smoker which he's been annoyed that I haven't gotten around to putting up on my blog(hehe). A couple of weeks ago, he had an epilepsy fit in his flat which sizzled the wires in his brain, sent him walking around like a lost maniac and jumping a wall (which caused him to fracture his foot or something) before his brain snapped together again and he found himself at the campus library. It was all very exciting and he now has a cast on his leg, which sadly is not signable. So now we have to break the other leg and make sure he gets a proper cast that can be signed with all kinds of pretty pink permanent markers *grins* The poor soul is now stuck at home with his cast for a month ("oh, it'll come off in a week, I'll be up in no time at all," he said at first) and you can always tell when he's coming because he'll be on crutches that make a lot of noise and causes him to slip all over the supermarket and become a complete annoyance when he pokes at all of us with his crutches. But it's fun to push him a little and watch him almost trip hehe. Oh well, get well soon, LS!
Now it's time for dinner so farewell!
