Wine Me, Dine Me, and I'll Be Yours, I'm Cheap That Way ;)
So anyway, this weekend was a weekend full of wine and sleep. On Friday night, had mucho cheap wine with the Lost Smoker and fell asleep at the Gutter Philosopher's house while everyone else either went to Northbridge or Freo. Then on Saturday night, had mucho sauvignon cabernet with the Gutter Philosopher over dinner (not to mention too much chicken and cous cous) and fell asleep early again while everyone went to Freo. Hmph.
All around, there's been too much falling asleep. I don't understand it. Wine has never put me asleep like this before. It must be a sleeping draught in the air.
And then on Monday, the dear Duchess returned from her nightmarish filming trip to Margaret River with, like, ten bottles of desert wine and a bottle of merlot for me. Thanks, Duchess! *beams*
Now she wants me to come over to her room in nothing but a bathrobe on. Ooooh.
*Ahem*
Anyway...
Tomorrow the Duchess and I are going to see Paul Van Dyk! Whoot!
Oh, and great news. The Bundles has gotten a job! She will be working in a legal firm! How cool does that sound? Although I never knew that lawyers needed marketing executives as well. Bundles, you must buy tons of cool suits and power heels and tell me how life is like mingling with power-hungry money-hungry ferocious Boston-Legal lawyer types. ;)
All my friends are getting awesomely cool jobs... I only hope I get just-as-cool jobs when I graduate...
And I've started reading The Magus by John Fowles, which was recommended to me by the Lost Smoker ages ago...only it took forever for me to even take it from his room because it has a hell scary picture on the front...
And I've finished The Famished Road by Ben Okri, which was recommended to me by the Porn Star...it was a fantastic book, that much I must say! I didn't think too much of it when I first started the book, but it turned out to be simply awesome. I recommend it to everyone and anyone! Thanks, Porn Star, for the recommendation! (Who knew a stripper would have such good taste in books? hehe, just kidding, Porn Star. You are One.Intellectual.Stripper)
All right, must go. The Duchess is waiting for me to start dinner. See ya guys! ;)
