Urhhhh...I'm feeling bad.
I was just thinking of the countless times I have had terribly drunken nights, then awoken to an icky hangover and promised myself, "Never again...never again."
Urhhhh.
It's just happened again.
The Lost Smoker will so be laughing at me for this one.
Gaaaah. What a night.
It wouldn't be so bad if there wasn't that horrible feeling in my stomach. Urhhhh.
I can't sleeeep.
Which is why I'm awake at eight am, with nothing to do. I should go make more food. In a minute. After this blog. I don't know if any of the food in my cupboard will suffice as proper food for a hangover, because I always, always, always need a big meal full of good yummy proper carbohydrates to make myself feel better after a night of drinking. And the food in my cupboard consists mostly of: 1 Continental instant soup in Asian Tom Yum flavor with lots of noodles, a loaf of bread, a can of onion and caramelised tuna, an Indo Mee packet that was one of two that Sheryl very kindly gave to me last night when I started a major craving for indo mee right before heading home (I caned the other one last night) and ingredients for pasta. I can't do the pasta now, although that would be the most filling, because the thought of the tart taste of pasta sauce doesn't really appeal to me right now. I need simple, plain-tasting food!!!
On the other hand, now that I think about it, the pasta does sound good. Mmmm. Maybe. If I get up enough energy to make it. Otherwise, the soup first. Easiest and it's pretty good. Yummmm.
Oooh, and I completed my bar course! Yup, the Duchess and I signed up for the university bar course where we were taught how to "serve alcohol responsibly and make popular drinks." Hooray! And it was really fun too.
You should have seen us. The workshop was split into two workshops, each taking two hours long each night. The first one, we were handed a manual and taught about serving alcohol responsibly and how to change a beer keg and what to do if the beer we were serving was too warm or too flat, ect, ect, all the not-so-interesting stuff first. Everyone was really quiet and there wasn't much chatter that night. The second night, they started us on wine-tasting and then on to making cocktails. The moment we all had our first sip of alcohol, everyone immediately started loosening up and becoming chatty and mischevious. Whoot!
Anyway, last night was the cocktail-making night. We had our workshop at the uni tav, and since it was a wednesday night, there were loads of other people milling about and having drinks and...erm...running around in black togas and dancing with giant plastic penguins. Me and the Duchess stayed to have some drinks and bumped into the Roaring Lion and a bunch of other people... and then they decided to walk over to the waterford so we followed them. The Duchess and Mystery Wolf (who had dropped by after her class was over at eight) decided to head home because they had early classes the next morn but I went on with the rest of them. Sigh...I actually managed to sober up during the walk, but that was made kind of redundant after that. Speaking of which, Munya (who had shaved his head!) has given up drinking for lent! When he asked me what I had given up...erm...I couldn't think of anything. Finally, I told him I had given up sobriety. For that night, anyway.
Sigh, sigh, sigh. Foolish one.
Anyway, must relate interesting conversation that the Duchess and I had while waiting for our second workshop to begin. I don't know how it happened, but the Duchess had revealed to me that she actually gets turned on by turtles humping (and also that she had a crush on the Ninja Turtles when she was a kid! gasp!) and I suggested that maybe the Porn Star would do a better job of turning her on by getting her to watch a live porn show of two turtles humping. We ended up sending him a text message of that recommendation. While waiting for him to reply, we debated the proper usage of pronouncing tortoises "Tor-TIS" and "Tor-TOYS". According to the Duchess, "Tor-TIS" is singular and for plural, we pronounce it "Tor-TOYSES". Or so she says.
Then, the Porn Star replies, telling us he'd rather have himself turned on by watching us having sex together. Naturally, we had to reply saying that to have sex together, we'd need to get turned on first ourselves, and the best way would be by watching HIM have sex with a tortoise. Not just a tortoise! But a giant tortoise! And then he replies in shock, asking the Duchess if she is trying to make him prove his love for her and telling us "filthy roadside pigs" that he needs to drive now and can't be distracted. We sit for a while in the sunshine and I suddenly had this image of the Porn Star surrounded by dozens of tortoises that he has just fucked or is going to fuck, and several of them will be lying on their backs, with their fat little feet waving about in the air, going "fuck me, porn star! fuck me!" or "Oooh, darling, that was the best orgasm ever!"
LOL.
Naturally we had to text him with a description of that vision. I can't remember what he said in reply. Must ask Duchess about that.
Urhhh. I think I know why I feel so bad today. I'm not just having a hangover, I've been stricken down by food poisoning! Who dared fed me bad food?!? It has to be either the chip and bacon roll or the chips and sour cream. Or the soup. AAAH.
Anyway, am feeling better now. It wasn't a hangover I was suffering from after all. Either that or the hangover has also passed over. Now I'm just hungry. I want food!!! Who wants to go down to the shops and buy me food???? :D:D:D
Hmmm. I just remembered the pasta.
Yummmm....
Am having a text conversation with the Duchess now. She's convinced that what I'm suffering from is a hangover, not food poisoning. We are currently debating it now. Just so long as nothing else bad happens to me. :D
