Let's all make a list of the loveliest things in the world. We'd just make it up as we go along, just list anything at all that pops into your head!
My list is:
Long hot showers on cold wintry days
Dipping a wooden scoop into an old-fashion wooden bucket full of water...like those that they have in Japanese saunas...
The sound of rain falling on the roof...also watching a lovely, light, delicate, silky-grey curtain of rain falling from the roof eaves into a misty green garden...
Sitting on a beach at night under a star-strewn sky
The smell of new books
The sound of the wind whispering through the trees
Watching the sun rise with friends after a long, awesome night
A flame burning in the dark of the night
The sound of the footstep of a long-awaited loved one coming home
Running down a long green slope
Sitting among the massive roots at the base of a huge tree
Running through the rain
The sound of a single drop of water falling into a pond
A weeping willow tree
The sound of a windchime
The taste of water after a long, hot day
Furry little kittens
The feel of the sand of a beach and the foam of the sea on your feet
Tibet
The feel of warm sunshine on your skin
The caress of the wind against your face
The brilliant blue of the river under the sparkling of sunlight
A moonlit river
Dancing... without caring about what anyone else thinks about you...
