Oh my gosh!!!
I was just going through the Blog Herald when I came across this piece of news which was about this New York college student named Simon Ng who had recently been murdered on May 12. And apparently, just before he had been murdered he had posted up an entry about the murderer's presence in his house (the guy was his sister's ex-boyfriend who Simon had let him in because the ex-boyfriend had said he wanted his fishing poles back). And I suppose, shortly after Simon had posted his blog, he was stabbed by the ex-boyfriend, who then stabbed his sister later when she came home.
That's terrible!!!
Read Simon's last entry here at his blog: http://www.xanga.com/home.aspx?user=ToTo247
The poor thing...what gutted me was all the things on his blog, like his profile, when he was born, what his interests were, how he had a website and how he cheerfully admitted that he was pretty much a computer geek...and he had been happily talking in his last post about working on a Japanese report and how he's been missing his Japanese classes but he'd make up for it this summer "so no worries he he". What he didn't realize was that there wouldn't be any more summers for him. Oh my gosh, the poor thing! I think it was just looking at his blog and how he had been happily posting all this while without realizing what was in store for him. And he had, like, so much in life going for him, just look at all his interests: politics, history, Language Studies, cooking... it makes you realize how much of a real person he was, not just some other name in the news. His blog just makes him seem more real. Oh gosh! Rest in peace, Simon!

Just scroll down to the post about him, the one with the headline: Victime Blogs about his Murderer.
